Sometimes you need a pick me up and sometimes you need to wind down. At Swill Coffee and Wine you can do both. Start your morning with a gourmet cappuccino made with locally roasted coffee beans and pair it with a warm pastry made by a local bakery. Drink a glass of wine from a carefully chosen winery after work with friends while you admire the works of local artists that decorate the walls. Run into your neighbor, meet up with your running group, and enjoy a local comedian while sipping a drink in one of the comfy couches. No grande Frappuccino’s extra whip, and no reservations required. This is a place for local people. This is Swill Reno.

Owner, Monica Grashuis has built a place that is unlike any other space in Reno. Swill Coffee and Wine opened on Nevada Day, and is a well-designed and decorated venue built with the purpose of being a local hot spot that is centered on all things local. Swill buys their products from local food vendors and has opened their doors to support local artists by letting them utilize the venue to showcase their talents whether its music, paintings or stand-up comedy. Grashuis hopes that the community will enjoy Swill Coffee and Wine’s gourmet coffee drinks and wine but also the community of Swill. This will be the place in Reno where everyone will know your name without the uncomfortable bar stools.
